They are so much more interesting then the down spouts used today. I have done a bit of enameling (but a few too many years ago so doubt I can remember it!) but love my etching. In my case- text on my jewellery. Bless my boys they got mummy a lightbox for xmas, so now I am all set up at home for photographic etching. I am also booked in to do an engraving course in September, so it was interesting to see you have tried it. I can't seem to find anyone else who is interested, and wondered if my course would be full of old men!! Lovely stuff!
