Angie Boothroyd Lecture

Today we had Angie Boothroyd as a guest lecturer at college. She was amazing! Having been in the jewellery business for the last 10 years - she had tons and tons of really useful information to share with us, about everything from display and packaging, to what to take to fairs and shows, what paperwork is necessary, some of the suppliers she uses, information about selling online...

She also showed us work that she had made while she was studying, and it was interesting to see how she progressed to find the style she is now well known for (leaves in different shades of gold that she alloys herself).
She has written a book about starting your own jewellery business, which I'm sure is great!
