Framlingham Castle
Having run out of castles to visit in our nearby stretch of 'Greater London', we have to travel further afield to get our castles fix. This weekend it was Framlingham Castle in Suffolk, about 2.5 hours drive each way, but worth it of course. There were not many gargoyles there, but there were some lovely ornate brick chimneys. It is an English Heritage site.
I did manage to find one quite interesting stone face, built high up into the outer wall of the castle:
