I've been busy trying to perfect the '3 dangle' style of earrings. I'm quite proud of these ones, because I managed to work out how to solder them so I don't need to connect them using jump rings. That means the shards are closer to each other, making the combination of colours/textures more noticeable.
As you can probably tell by the photos, there is no sign of sun in London this morning...
Because this style is quite work intensive, I finished off the day (yesterday) by making a simpler pair, with a larger pottery shard and a pearl - quite a classic design:
I could hardly get to sleep because new ideas kept jumping into my head. I know I should have written them down...
Today I'll be working on more of the 3 dangle earrings, as I am enjoying making interesting combinations of colour and texture. Coming soon...
Very nice, the pearl one's especially!
ReplyDeleteI agree Tania, the closer the dangles are the better they show off the difference in the textures, I love the blue ones with the pearl they are lovely.
