Willow Pattern Texture Plate

I thought it would be nice to use some metal with the  Willow pattern texture, so here is a brass texture plate in the making...

Painting on resist, using patterned shards as a guide

Needs a bit of tidying up, but overall - it looks OK.
Now into the acid, and I hope by tomorrow I can show you some of the textured silver...

  2. Wow! You have a very steady hand! Do you etch with acid or salt?

    1. I etch with Ferric Chloride from Maplins for copper and brass, and Iron Nitrate for silver (from Walsh). I have never tried any other method.
