Old Spitalfields Designers Makers Market

Last week at the Thames Festival, I was told about the Designers Makers Market at Old Spitalfields, which is on every third Saturday of the month. I visited it yesterday to check it out and see if it was the kind of place I would like to sell my work.

Spitalfields Market is a really nice place to visit - I hadn't been for a long time but the last time I was there I found some great treasures - glass buttons, glass doll eyes and some carved mother of pearl angels, none of which I have used yet...

Anyway - the designer / maker section of the market is still quite small, only three rows, and I'm not sure if I'm going to apply for a stall yet.
I did find some nice work there by other people - here are my favourites:

Dana Kidson - silver and gemstone jewellery. My favourite pieces of hers had crushed gemstones.

Element, Inspired Interiors - a new interior design company that offer wallpapers and rugs with designs inspired by natures patterns:

Flavourtown Bakery - cupcakes in loads of flavours, of which I sampled the salt caramel (Yum!) but all the others looked yummy as well.
