Owl and Pussycat Earrings

It was my mum who suggested I make these, and I had to have a go. I started them yesterday, and finished them just now.
They turned out rather whimsical, even for me :-)

I tried to base the design on the fact that owls and cats are quite similar, with their pointy ears and big round eyes... So they are actually the same apart from the mouth and tail on the cat, and wings and feet on the owl.

The cat has blue glass eyes, the owl has brown eyes - a bit hard to see as there is no sun in sight here in London today...
