Unfortunately the Thames doesn't leave nice and rounded pieces like sea glass, but there are lots of gorgeous colours there - so I intend to learn how to tumble them to smooth the edges (I'll break them up a bit first).
I have found a few tutorials online, I need some sand and patience it seems, as it takes about a month...
At the very bottom you can see some pieces of mother of pearl which are quite easy to nip into shapes.
