Willow Pattern Brooch
Something a bit different - a brooch made out of various pieces of willow pattern 'Nankin Border' design. I don't make many brooches, but this was fun! A bit challenging to solder, but I managed in the end...
Each of these shards was hand painted long, long ago...
I think I love putting together colours and patterns that are similar yet different, as this seems to be a theme in my latest work...
