Gordon's Gin Bottle Base - More Info

So instead of constantly updating my last post as I find new information about the bottle base, here it is all in one place.
  • The logo is a boar's head, which was a Gordon's Gin trademark until 2003.
  • This bottle is marked as UGB26, which means it was manufactured by the United Glass Bottle Manufacturers in 1926 (A large conglomerate of many glass factories in the United Kingdom. Mark dates from 1913 to about 1968)
  • Gordon's Gin bottles are green in the UK and clear in the US.
All this stuff was found by researching different sources online.

I love being able to date my finds! Very exciting!

And here is a better picture:

  1. That is very interesting information Tania, thank you for sharing. Oh and that is a really neat piece of glass.

  2. HI,
I have a bottle with the same logo underneath but it says UGB5. Does it means it's from 1905?
