I have one on the go as well - this one is Angelite and sea glass - a little more work to do and it will be ready for hallmarking.

Hinged Connections - Ceramic and Gemstone Necklace
This pendant features a bead by Karen Bunting at the top, then a nugget of Apatite, then a nugget of Angelite. It is very chunky! I had been teaching myself how to make hinged connections, which allow the stones or components to sit close to each other, and move but not twist.
Since the torch I use doesn't get hot enough to ball the end of the wire and 'rivet' the hinge - I soldered granules of silver onto the ends of the wire in the hinge. Still a delicate operation, but it worked.
I have one on the go as well - this one is Angelite and sea glass - a little more work to do and it will be ready for hallmarking.
